Professional Tree Services/Jeff W's Lawn Service is looking for a new groundsperson to work with chainsaws, the industrial chipper, knots, rope rigging, and more. Every day will bring different tasks, trees and fulfilling challenges, such as staying on the ground to assist other employees in adequately pruning and trimming trees and general lawn/ground maintenance. Either way, you will be making a difference in your community, and currently, there is a lot of work to go around.

Job Responsibilities

Operate an array of equipment to remove and dispose of unwanted branches, which can entail using brush chippers, stump chippers, power saws and many others.

Willing to train the right person to climb trees using climb hooks, belts and ladders in order to access the worksite
Prune trees to make them more visually pleasing to the customer and general public.

Clear the site once the job is done by lifting, pulling, and loading up branches and other pieces of debris into work trucks
Organize and maintain condition of equipment, tools, and work trucks.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:
Possess a humble, positive attitude
Willingness to work as a team
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation to get to/from work
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to pass a drug test

Preferred:
Prior experience pruning trees
Full-time candidates
Bilingual in Spanish

 

Compensation:

Negotiable based on knowledge and experience level
